Our stainless steel items are non-tarnish and hypoallergenic, which means, they do not turn green. Our pieces have a special coating which makes them waterproof. However, we recommend limiting the use of perfumes and other chemicals on top of your pieces as it may decrease the lifespan.

Our 18k Gold Plated Stainless Steel jewelry can last 2-3+ years with proper care. Plain Silver can last up to 20 years and Stainless Steel can last up to 50 years with proper care.

For our jewelry with a brass base,

To ensure your jewelry stays in good condition, we suggest taking it off before showering, exercising, or swimming. Keep in mind that gold-plated and rose gold-plated jewelry may tarnish if they come into contact with perfumes, lotions, or hair products. It's also best to avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or jewelry cleaners, as they could damage the finish. Consider storing your jewelry in our Dainty Stories dust bag, sealed plastic bag, or dry cloth bag to help keep it looking its best.

For our jewelry with a Stainless Steel base,

Similar to brass base jewelry, try to avoid harsh chemicals. However, they do not discolor or oxidize which makes it the best material for everyday use. Our stainless steel is also waterproof, hence, feel free to bring them anywhere!

Shipping

Non-custom orders are processed and shipping within 4-7 business days and custom orders within 14 business days.

Dainty Stories offers free shipping to all of Hong Kong on orders over HKD 400. If the order does not reach the threshold, we offer a flat standard fee of HKD 30.

All shipping costs are non-refundable.

We are not responsible for customs fees or import taxes. If a package is refused for any reason, the customer is responsible for reaching out to us and attempting to have it delivered again. We will not refund a customer if their order is refused.

 

Returns

For custom-made jewelry such as jewelry with names, unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for custom-made jewelry, as these pieces are created specifically for you. 

For other non-custom items, to initiate a return, please contact our team by emailing us at shopdaintystories@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your item and provide your order details and reason for return. We will provide you with instructions for returning your item.

Any returned items must be in their original condition, with all tags and packaging intact.Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds at this time. All returns will be processed as store credit. Once we receive your item and confirm that it meets our return policy, we will proceed with adding the store credits to your account.

Warranty

Rest assured that all our jewelry are carefully crafted by experienced artisans with the highest quality materials. However, if we made a mistake and you received a custom piece that is damaged or defective, we offer a 30 day warranty. After this period, there will be a small repair fee.
